02We couldn't find
what we wanted.
If you've ever tried coloured contact lenses for dark eyes, you've probably experienced the same disappointment.
They looked incredible in photos but too bright in real life. The grey felt flat. The brown looked orange. The green felt unnatural. Instead of enhancing your features, the lenses became the first thing people noticed.
The problem wasn't you.
Most coloured contact lenses are designed for a global audience, where lighter eye colours are far more common. Dark brown Indian eyes interact with colour differently. Warm undertones need different pigments. What looks subtle on one eye can look dramatically different on another.
We realised there wasn't a premium brand creating natural-looking coloured contact lenses for Indian eyes, with Indian skin tones and naturally dark eyes at the centre of the design process. So we decided to build one.

India isn't one skin tone. We're warm, golden, olive, deep, neutral, and everything in between. Our eyes carry different depths of brown, different flecks of honey, and different ways of catching light.
That's why Monvue focuses on coloured lenses for Indian skin tones that complement rather than overpower your natural features. Instead of creating loud colours that only look good under studio lighting, we focused on shades that blend naturally with dark eyes.

When it came to manufacturing, there was never really a debate. Every Monvue lens is made in South Korea, home to advanced contact lens manufacturing and a strong tradition of precision and quality.
Korean manufacturers are known for their attention to detail, consistency, and precision. For us, choosing Korea wasn't about adding another marketing line. It was about making a promise.
If our name is on the box, it should be something we'd wear ourselves.
